Just got back from a hike on the Mountain to Sea trail up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The leaves are showing a little hint of color and the sky is Carolina Blue. We are all enjoying the cool fall temps in the mornings and then a warm up in the afternoons. This past Sunday I went on a seven mile hike up on the trails in Montreat (very close to Black Mountain) and enjoy hiking some on the old toll road leading up to MT. Mitchell. It is so nice living here in the mountains with all the hiking trails and path available to the public to enjoy.
