It has been a long time coming but the wonderful fall breeze and crisp mornings are finally here. We bought the first load of firewood for the fire place in the dining room . Our guest like to wake up to the smell of a real wood fire and hear the crackling sounds as they come in for breakfast.
My garden is going to seed and the little birds are loving it. We were lucky to see some of the fall warblers coming through and yesterday saw a couple of rose breasted grosbeaks in our pecan tree.
Soon the trees will start putting on the fall show with the colored leaves and it is going to be a good one this year from everything we have heard.
