Never a shortage of new things to do in the mountains. The movie Dirty Dancing was filmed at Lake Lure back in the 80's. Now on Sept. 17-18th there will be a lakeside film screening at 7PM. A family dance festival will be from 9 am - 4 pm on the 18th at Morse Park Meadows, followed by "time of Your Life" Gala at 6 PM at Firefly Cove .
