FORECAST; Expect a vivid WNC leaf show

Good news in the Asheville paper this morning.  According to the front page article the leaves are
"Thanks to highter temperature and less than average rainfall  Mathews said that this fall should put on a better show  :Because of the hear and especially the drier spring and summer seasons, colors should be a better and richer this year.  Peak still uncertain, peak color changes depend on the first frost date of the year Mathers explainded, "If frost  comes later than usual because of the higher temps so will the peak color season.
